Youth in the Artisan workshop
The Youth in the Artisan workshop project seeks to prevent school dropout and labor market exclusion, or to reduce their impact when preventive measures have not been successful.
The project provides socialization opportunities for 80 young people aged 14 to 30 in the city of Sassari, encouraging them to explore their manual skills and creativity. In collaboration with artisans and local businesses, participants will engage in hands-on learning of various techniques such as woodworking, pottery, engraving, and screen printing. These activities take place in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment that promotes social interaction, with special attention to the most vulnerable.
The goal is to develop knowledge and cognitive and social skills that facilitate the integration of young people into the social and productive fabric of the region. This will be achieved through 16 hands-on learning paths, guiding participants in reflecting on their experiences and promoting a participatory and holistic growth process.
