Toolgether
Workshops for the youth of the Municipality of Sassari focused on socio-cultural and socio-educational engagement.
The Toolgether project set up workshops to support young people as part of the national project "LGNet EA - Network of municipalities for rapid response and emergency inclusion services in disadvantaged urban areas".
The project’s first major focus was career guidance through a social innovation lab aimed at helping young people engage in association building and micro-entrepreneurship. These workshops enabled participants to create sustainable products, services, and business models while fostering collaboration among various stakeholders and making the most of existing resources.
The project’s second major focus was on promoting socialization through socio-cultural and educational activities for both migrant and local youth, encouraging them to rediscover and express their manual skills. In the “paths of socialization in the Artisan workshop”, local artisans guided participants in learning traditional techniques. These workshops included woodworking, pottery, bicycle mechanics, and self-build using natural materials. They fostered intergenerational and intercultural exchange, contributing to the development of an inclusive local network that valued the skills of all participants.
